In Pakistan, annual income tax return filing with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) by September 30 is mandatory for all companies, Associations of Persons (AOPs), and any individual earning taxable income—including salaried employees with withholding taxes, freelancers, and business owners. You must also file if you hold a National Tax Number (NTN), were taxed in the past two years, own specified high-value properties or large vehicles, hold qualifying foreign assets or income, or want to claim a tax refund or carry forward a loss. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, contact us and we can advise.
Your basic details such as CNIC, Phone Number, Email, etc. In addition specific requrements for each service are listed on the Services Page. If a specific document is needed for your case, we will ask for it directly.
Use the contact form on this site with a short description of what you need or contact us directly on Whatsapp. We will get back to you to take it forward.
The FBR sets the annual deadline, usually 30th September, and sometimes extends it. Contact us well before the deadline so there is time to prepare your return.
Becoming an active filer on the FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) primarily slashes heavy penalty withholding taxes on major transactions—reducing property purchase duties, eliminating the cash withdrawal tax above PKR 50,000, and cutting levies on bank profits, dividends, and vehicle registrations by half or more compared to non-filer rates.
Yes! If you fail to file you tax return you could be fined with a minimum penalty of PKR 20,000/- to PKR 50,000/- and it increases overtime if not pursued.
